How long does an order take to create?

Every order is unique. Each order has a 30 day return minimum unless discussed with Kris the carver. Orders are first come first serve.

Can Custom Carvings by Kris withstand the outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the carvings are finished in Spar Urethane.  Spar Urethane is a durable, flexible, oil- or water-based protective finish designed for exterior wood exposed to UV rays, moisture, and temperature fluctuations, such as doors, trim, and marine surfaces. It keeps wood protected by expanding and contracting with it, unlike brittle, hard finishes. It is commonly used for outdoor furniture, fences, and boats above the waterline.

Do I need to place a down payment for custom or pre-made carvings?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a 50%, non-refundable, down payment must be place for any order including custom on-location works. This down payment covers materials, other expenses and carving time for the carver.

Do you ship the carvings?

Accepted Answer

No, Custom Carvings by Kris does not TYPICALLY ship via any mailing service. Mail delivery can be done however shipping and handling and all costs associated are paid by the buyer prior to shipping. Delivery or meet-up is possible for a fee. Orders can always be picked up. Please note any details pertaining to this topic in the enquiry form.

How do you accept payment?

Custom Carvings by Kris accepts Venmo, CashApp, Zelle and Cash as forms of acceptable ways to make a down payment and final payment. The remaining payment may be made in the same. Please no personal Checks or Credit Cards.

We offer 10% discount for Active Military and Veterans.
